Spring flowers on a branch are covered with snow in Tetovo, 40km (29 miles) west from the capital Skopje, March 19, 2008. After weeks of sunshine and warm weather that lured many to local parks and hiking sites, Macedonians woke to snowfalls on Wednesday morning. Meteorologists have predicted more snow and rainfall in the following days, including on Friday which marks the first day of spring.
