Britney Spears is Serendipity Sweet

Labels:

Britney Spears grabs dinner and dessert at one of her favorite old New York hangouts on Monday night, the Upper East Side restaurant Serendipity 3.

Earlier today, the 26-year-old pop princess talked about winning three Moonmen at MTV’s Video Music Awards, including video of the year for “Piece of Me”.

“It’s a cool video, but I think by far I’ve done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got the award,” she said. “It was just inspiring, though, because now, going forward with the videos that I’m doing now, I can really go there and do something crazy and see what happens.”

Ali Lohan is Mostly Ghostly

Labels:

Ali Lohan, the 14-year-old sister of big sister Lindsay, stars in the new kids’ horror film Mostly Ghostly.

Here’s a synopsis of the direct-to-DVD movie, which is out in stores tomorrow (September 30): Max (Sterling Beaumon) is hardly a typical 11-year-old: he loves magic, detests sports, and can’t seem to say a single word to his crush, Traci (Ali Lohan), the most popular girl in school. But when he’s the only one who can see the ghosts haunting his house, two young spirits make him the deal of a lifetime: he’ll help them solve the mystery of their parents’ disappearance and battle a wicked ghoul, if they’ll help him go from being invisible to the most talked-about kid at school! Featuring an all-star cast including Madison Pettis (The Game Plan), Luke Benward (How to Eat Fried Worms), Noah Cyrus (Hannah Montana) and Sterling Beaumon (Four Christmases), it’s one spooky mishap after another in this haunted adventure!

Olivia Fisher-Duddy — Joely Fisher’s New Daughter!

Labels:

Joely Fisher and her husband Christopher Duddy have adopted a baby girl, reports People.

Olivia Luna Fisher-Duddy joins older brothers, Cameron, 22, Collin, 20, and sisters, Skylar, 7, and True, 2.

“They are all blissfully happy and enjoying their new baby sister,” says Joely’s rep, Brit Reece.

Star reports Olivia is an African-American infant from South Central Los Angeles.

“Joely and Chris were inspired by Angelina Jolie and Madonna’s decisions to adopt a baby from Africa,” a family friend tells the mag. “But after looking into the adoption process, they realized there were so many children in the L.A. area who needed homes.” (Joely visited with children in Mozambique in August.)
