Naked Jessica in bondage ad campaign for young vote
Jessica Alba has appeared in a raunchy bondage-themed advertising campaign in an attempt to encourage young people to vote.
The Sin City actress stars in the dramatic photographic campaign for voter group Declare Yourself - which encourages young people to register to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election - and is seen topless, with black tape across her mouth and chest and heavy eye make-up.
The pictures include the tag 'Only You Can Silence Yourself', and Jessica, 27, claims they "really resonate" with the issue of voter registration.
She said: "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.
"We sign up for MySpace pages and Facebook pages, and download music off the internet. The least people can do is register to vote online, actually making a difference in their world, not just making their lives a little bit cooler."
Photographer Marc Liddel shot the campaign, and despite the racy nature of the pictures Jessica insists she was not embarrassed.
She said: "It didn't freak me out at all. What I like about Marc's work is that he tells a story and brings real emotion to his pictures."
The actress has also spoken about her three-month-old baby Honor, her first child with husband Cash Warren, insisting being a parent is the most fulfilling thing she has experienced.
She said: "So far motherhood is the best thing ever. It is exhausting but way more fulfilling than anything I have done. Everything I do now is so much more meaningful because of her."
Other stars posing in the campaign include Andre 3000 and Christina Aguilera
Actress Jessica Alba arrives for the taping of the 2008 "NCLR Alma" awards at the Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, August 17, 2008. Michael Phelps "nervous" ahead of "SNL" debut
Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps on Thursday admitted to a case of nerves, but seemed confident he won't be a fish out of water when he makes his acting debut on "Saturday Night Live" this coming weekend.
Phelps, who won a record eight gold medals at the recent Beijing Olympics, will be the guest host of the popular TV sketch comedy show when it premieres its 34th season Saturday.
"I'm probably more nervous doing this than I was swimming in the Olympics," the 23-year-old told reporters on a telephone conference call.
But Phelps said he can adapt to most everyday situations, and he hopes his real-life sarcasm will keep him afloat as he trades punch lines with the "Saturday Night Live" cast.
"The biggest thing I can tell you is that in my group of friends, I'm the most sarcastic," Phelps said about his comedic abilities.
A fan of former "SNL" funnyman Adam Sandler, Phelps said he has collected acting tips from Hollywood A-listers like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.
He added that the show's writers "nailed every topic" when parodying Phelps, from his calorie count to his medal count.
At Beijing Olympic Games, Phelps beat Mark Spitz's record seven golds for a single Olympic Games, which Spitz won at 1972's Munich Olympics. Overall, Phelps has 14 gold medals including six from the 2004 Olympic games in Athens.

Cameron Diaz Pumps You Up
Cameron Diaz is spotted heading out to the gym and leaving the gym in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Thursday.
The 35-year-old actress came in at #4 in Forbes‘ list of Hollywood’s Most Overpaid Actors.
“The highest paid actress in Hollywood, Diaz pulled in $50 million last year. But her high salary makes it hard for the romantic comedies she stars in to earn a good return. The Holiday brought in $205 million worldwide but Diaz’s high payday meant the film only grossed $3.70 for every dollar Diaz was paid.
For every dollar she was paid, Cameron Diaz’s movies averaged $4 of gross income.”
Nicole Kidman took the top spot on the list, followed by Jennifer Garner and Tom Cruise.
