Paris Hilton is “devastated” by the burglary of over $2 million worth of jewels from her LA home between late Thursday evening and 4 a.m. Friday.

“I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace,” she tells Life & Style. “I’m just thankful that I wasn’t there when it happened.”

The heiress was out partying in LA when her home was broken into. An insider reveals that “millions of dollars of jewelry was stolen — diamonds, necklaces, rings, watches and family heirlooms from her grandmothers.”

Luckily, though, the insider says the thief was caught on tape. “Paris has surveillance cameras set up in every room,” says the insider, who’s seen the tapes. “The thief was wearing a black hoody and knew exactly where to go, like he’s been there before.”

Taking no risks, “Paris has upped her security team to three 24-hour bodyguards, and she has someone on her property at all times,” adds the insider. “Detectives are doing a huge investigation.”

“Sadly, it’s true,” Vanessa Fontana, a contestant on Paris‘ BFF show, confirms to Life & Style. “Paris and Benji have split. I love Paris, and I just want her to be happy. I think that they’ll be better as friends.”

Vanessa disputed rumors that the split had anything to do with Paris’ brief reunion with ex Stavros Niarchos this past weekend in Miami. “No, nobody else is involved,” she says. “Paris and Benji were loyal and faithful to each other. I was with Paris in Miami, and Stavros came over to our table, and the two of them talked for literally two minutes. It was a friendly conversation. They definitely did not hook up.”

Paris is said to be devastated by the breakup. “She wishes it could be different,” says the friend. “Benji always treated her like his princess. He’s a really great guy with a big heart and she loves him very much. Maybe at some point in the future, the two of them could try again, but right now, they’re just too different as people.”

Paris Hilton spreads her wings as a fairy in the new promo for her fifth fragrance, Fairy Dust.

“Do you believe in fairy tales?” the 27-year-old hotel heiress asks in the ad.

According to People, Fairy Dust is a pink peony, orange blossom, gardenia and vanilla creme scent.

Pixie Dust hits stores in mid-October 2008.

This coming this Tuesday, MTV’s latest and greatest reality show, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, premieres. It airs @ 10PM on September 30.

Not only has Jordin Sparks come to the aid of the Jonas Brothers, but Paris Hilton as well! Regarding Nick, Kevin and Joe’s purity rings, Paris told Us Weekly, “I don’t pick on them. That’s something cool for a kid to keep, so don’t pick on them for that.”

“I think that they’re all really good kids and that they’re definitely our next generation of kids and they’re all really good so I think that’s awesome,” Hilton added.

Paris Hilton just updated her blog to give us an update on what she’s been up to all summer long. Here’s a snippet of her post:

“Hope you’re all having a wonderful summer. This is actually the first summer where I didn’t just lounge around in St. Tropez or a private beach somewhere–I didn’t take a vacation this summer because it’s been non- stop work.

“I’ve been shooting the show, editing it, traveling to Europe to promote my handbag line and fragrance, designing my fall collection for my shoes and clothing line, and working in my studio on a new album. So professionally its been a very successful and productive summer. My favorite part of the summer has been the time I’ve gotten to spend on tour with my love Benj We always have the best time together and he’s played some shows in some pretty rad places: Orlando for example, so we got to go to Disney World, which is always a blast! He’s such an amazing boyfriend and so talented too…I love watching him perform on stage, so hot! Loves it!

“Life couldn’t be better; I have a great boyfriend and a new best friend. I’m so excited to announce that I’ve wrapped taping of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. I’ve been LOVING every moment in the editing room, and am sitting there literally in tears, every day, laughing so hard at all the priceless moments from the footage.
