Peru sets potato exhibition in IMC of APEC

Potato originates in South America and is one of the crops most widely cultivated around the world. The year of 2008 was identified as the year of Potato by the 60th United Nations General Assembly. Peruvian Agriculture Ministry sets up the exhibition in the IMC of APEC. The 21 member economies began their annual forum, called the 16th APEC Leaders' Week, in Lima on Sunday with the start of a two-day senior officials' meeting.
