It’s pretty clear it’s a slight jab to Disney’s reigning tween queen Miley Cyrus and her backup dancer BFF Mandy Jiroux.

Hayden Panettiere’s Dad Arrested For Assaulting Wife

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere’s father, Alan, was arrested early Monday morning for allegedly battering his wife, Hayden’s momager, Lesley Vogel.

“There was a domestic argument between the mother and father,” Sgt. Scott Wolf of the West Hollywood sheriff’s said. “He got upset and struck the mother in the face one or two times on the left cheek which caused some bruising. The mother called police shortly before 3 a.m., and Mr. Panettiere was taken into custody. He’s been cooperative. Earlier, they were at a party and the husband apparently felt disrespected by his wife.”

Alan, 49, allegedly struck Lesley, 52, in the face at around 3 a.m. Monday, and is currently being held on $50,000 bail, according to TMZ.

Hours earlier, Hayden’s car, driven by Heroes costar/boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia, ran over a photographer’s foot outside Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old actress was first spotted leaving Ryan Reynold’s house and traveled back to her old condo where she picked up her mom Melanie Sloan.

They visited a Tai massage place in Los Feliz then enjoyed some lunch before continuing their day in Beverly Hills. Scarlett and her mother went to an open house in Beverly Hills.

The Whaleman Foundation is an oceanic research, conservation, and production organization dedicated to preserving and protecting dolphins, whales, and their ocean habitat.

On Saturday, Hayden, 18, performed at the Netflix Live! on Location concert with her “Band From TV” in LA, while her boyfriend, fellow Heroes costar Milo Ventimiglia was photographing her.

The Hills star hosted the party to celebrate the success of her clothing line.

The 22-year-old has been tapped to design a couture gown for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards trophy girls who hand out U.S. television’s top honors. “I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist,” she said in a statement.

Lauren returns for the fourth season of The Hills, premiering Monday, August 18 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
