Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford attends the Diesel xXx 30th anniversary “Rock and Roll Circus” celebration at Brooklyn Waterfront’s Pier 3 on Saturday in Brooklyn, New York.

Inspired by the old European traveling circuses of yesteryear, the event presented the show of a lifetime with theatrical circus elements including cabaret, fire eaters, trapeze artists, sword swallowing, female roller derby squads amongst other fantastical acts of wonderment.

Performances included mash-ups of performers including N.E.R.D, M.I.A, Chaka Khan, Benji and Joel Madden, and many others

Chace Crawford gets back into his school uni and gives photographers a big smile while shooting scenes for Gossip Girl on Thursday in Long Island City, New York.

Chace celebrated his 23rd birthday last Friday and had a big bash attended by Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Lydia Hearst.

The new season of Gossip Girl starts September 1st. Recent ads, however, have stirred controversy lately.

Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford finds himself in the middle of a gaggle of bikini-clad girls while on break from filming his hit CW drama, on location in Southampton, New York on Friday.

The 22-year-old actor was recently asked how he is coping with the attention from the ladies. Chace said, “You know, they feel like they know you. A lot of the time they just want a hug, I’m like alright, come here I’ll give you a hug.”

And when asked if there were any on-set romances that maybe going on off set as well, Chace joked, “Where did you hear that? I’ve never heard that one before.” (See: Blake Lively and Penn Badgley)

Chace recently addressed his relatively newfound popularity: “In terms of being famous, it did go from 0-60 in pretty much no time at all but you learn to deal with it. You just take it day by day. I remember filming on the Upper East Side of New York and there were a couple of hundred girls there. It was Friday just as high school was finishing so we were kind of asking for it. We were just like, ‘OK what have we got ourselves into.”

Former N’Sync member JC Chasez is sick and tired of the rumors that he and Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford are more than friends.

“You know what, it’s laughable the first time,” he told People at the live finale of Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew. “I think the tenth time, it gets annoying. I don’t care about [people’s] assumptions or anything, but when people outright lie, that’s wrong. So I think that part of the rumor is outright stupid. The fact of the matter is I’m a straight guy and I’m allowed to have [guy] friends.”
