And you thought Kate Hudson was just the girl next door! The 29-year-old actress opens up in the September 2008 issue of W Magazine. Here’s what she had to tell the mag:
On taking risks: “I have this personality—and there’s a downside to it too—but I have this thing where it’s like, okay, I’ve chosen to bungee jump off this ledge. I have to do it. And if the cord snaps, well, I might as well enjoy the ride down.”
On spending the “prime Hollywood partying years” of her early 80’s caring for her son, Ryder: “Am I gonna look back and say, God, I wish I could have gone to that… that… concert? I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”
On keeping in touch with ex-husband Chris Robinson: “We iChat with Chris constantly. No matter what is going on in my life, relationship-wise, Chris takes absolute precedence. It’s important for Ryder to hear me say how wonderful Chris is, and how much Chris misses him.”
On exposing details of her dating life: “It’s so hard for me, because I’m so open, to hold back. I could really just go on forever about this stuff. We can talk about Chris till the dogs come home. I married Chris, I had a baby with Chris, Chris will be in my life for the rest of my life. But everything else—I’ve learned that things are better left private until you’re actually planning the wedding.”

Kate Hudson, Lance Armstrong break up

Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have reportedly broken up. The "Fool's Gold" actress and the cycling champion - who started dating in mid-May - mutually decided to end their relationship, it has been claimed.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "There was no drama or ugliness - they just decided to end things. There is no hatred, just sadness."
Kate, 29, and Lance, 36, had been seen at various events together, including his three-day Lance Armstrong Live strong Summit in Columbus, Ohio, last weekend - where they finally decided to part ways.
They spent Father's Day together, and were accompanied to lunch by Kate's son Ryder and his father Chris Robinson. Kate had also introduced Lance to her mother Goldie Hawn.
Since splitting from Chris in 2007, Kate has been romantically linked to Owen Wilson and Dax Shepard. Lance was previously engaged to singer Sheryl Crow and was also reported to have dated Ashley Olsen.

Kate Hudson tops list of most beautiful people
Kate Hudson has topped the World's Most Beautiful People list in People magazine, landing the cover of the annual beauties issue.
People editors chose Hudson as their cover model for her natural beauty, pointing out that the actress "doesn't owe her famous sun-kissed looks to thousands of hours logged at a spa."
Hudson beat Salma Hayek, Mary J. Blige and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's eldest daughter Rumer Willis, who poses provocatively on a picnic table, wearing a gothic dress and ankle-length dominatrix boots for her People picture.
Also named on the new World's Most Beautiful People list are comedian Sarah Silverman, Christina Applegate, new mom Isla Fisher, the cast of TV phenomenon Gossip Girl and celebrity couples Jessica Alba and Cash Warren and Eva Longoria and Tony Parker.
