Watergate's "Deep Throat" dies

Dec 19 - The FBI official who anonymously gave vital information to reporters who exposed the Watergate scandal was 95.

Mark Felt was known only as Deep Throat for years after he secretly gave crucial information to Washington Post reporters over a break in at Democratic Party headquarters that ultimately led to the resignation of U.S. President Richard Nixon.
