Majestic BreedThe King Penguin thrives on the islands at the northern reaches of Antarctica and the southern oceans, like this grouping, photographed in the Falkland Islands.

PreeningLike Emperor Penguins, with whom they are often confused, the King Penguin has a white belly, silver-grey back and blackish heads. The King Penguin is distinguished by its smaller size and yellow feather "ear muffs".
