Sarah Michelle Gellar walks to her trailer after filming a scene for her latest drama, Veronika Decides to Die, in New York City on Tuesday.
The film tells the story about a woman named Veronika (Gellar) who wakes up in a mental institution after a failed suicide attempt. She discovers that she has a weakened heart and only days to live. Veronika’s road to recovery is followed as she finds true love and a newfound will to survive.
Veronika Decides To Die, out in 2009, is based on a book that takes from author Paulo Coelho’s experience in various mental institutions
