Here are the very first pictures of Robert Downey Jr. filming Sherlock Holmes on Friday, currently filming in Central London.
When asked what he could bring to a character portrayed countless times on film and television, RDJ has joked: “Clearly I’m going to do it better than it’s ever been done. The more I read about it the more overwhelmed I was by the weight of it and the amount of people who will be watching to see if it’s gotten right.”
Check out the pictures below–it looks like RDJ and his stunt double are conferring with each other on how to jump off the building they’re standing on. Also pictured: director Guy Ritchie.

Hugh Jackman: Pool Party!
Hugh Jackman takes his son Oscar Maximillian, 8, and daughter Ava Eliot, 3, for a dip at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool in Sydney, Australia on Friday.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the marketing push behind Hugh’s new film Australia will be epic.
Cinema insiders say the aggressive campaign for the Baz Luhrmann-directed outback romance, which costars Nicole Kidman, will be easily the most expensive Australia has seen.

Shenae Grimes Eats Fresh!
FIVE-DOLLAR FOOTLONGS
90210 starlet Shenae Grimes eats fresh as she picks up a Subway sandwich and two soft drinks before heading home in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The 18-year-old Canadian actress continues to fight talk that she has a weight problem. She recently blogged, “Now, as you all know now probably, I graced my first major magazine cover, only to be called ‘too skinny’ alongside my co-star Jessica Stroup. I would like to say once again that neither me or Jessica have issues with our weight or bodies. I happened to be very small built, and I’ve always been skinny. So I personally think that people need to stop criticizing everyone in the media these days about their issues. I’m sure you wouldnt like it if someone pointed out all of your flaws and all of your mistakes.”

“It’s strange,” Zac says of the ever-present paparazzi. “Every day is a crazy adventure. We do some pretty kooky things to avoid them. It’s like The Bourne Identity. I’m starting to learn the ways of the ninja.”
Entertainment Weekly also has more outtakes of Zac from his cover photo shoot, a few of which are pictured below.

Sigourney Weaver is “Incensed by Sarah Palin”
Sigourney Weaver, who guest stars on the Season 2 premiere of Eli Stone as Eli’s therapist, tells TV Guide, “The idea that they would be so bold as to create a show about faith was very exciting.”
She adds, “I’m not big on organized religion, but I wanted to convert to Judaism for a while. I went and lived on a kibbutz in Israel, but it was so lame because it was very conservative and all the women worked in the kitchen. It wasn’t a bunch of us out in the fields picking oranges and singing the way I had hoped, you know?”
On her new role as Eli’s therapist, she says, “I actually have a therapist. She’s very smart and we try not to talk about politics because we’re both incensed about Sarah Palin.”
Diddy would approve this message.
Eli Stone premieres this Tuesday, October 14th @ 10PM ET/PT on ABC. Katie Holmes’s will be featured the week after on Oct. 21.
