A surprising but delighting scene occured Tuesday when Australian bad-boy cricketer Andrew Symonds flattened a streaker during the second one-day final against India in Brisbane.

The man ran onto the pitch, naked, and toward Symonds at the non-striker's end on Tuesday as he attempted to evade chasing police and ground security staff at the Australia vs India match.

Symonds stood his ground and leaned into the streaker in a rugby-style shoulder charge, dropping him instantly to the ground.

Symonds, who may face disciplinary action, reached 42 as Australia was beaten by nine runs, losing the series 2-0.

Symonds could face a serious punishment if the International Cricket Council decides that he breached section 4.2 of the player's code of conduct relating to a physical assault of a rival player, an official or a spectator.

The sanction for that is a suspension from five test matches or 10 limited-overs internationals up to a life ban.

March 4 -- With none of her trademark tattoos in sight, Angelina Jolie models the new range of clothing brand St. John - looking a world away from her tough action girl role.
A demure-looking Angelina looked every inch the old school Hollywood beauty with her shiny brunette hair piled loosely on top of her head, while wearing a classic LBD from the American luxury label.
The shoot took place several weeks ago, before the actress' bump confirmed reports that she was pregnant with twins.
UN goodwill ambassador Angelina took the modeling job along with a spokesperson role as the voice of the company's charity, which was created in support of children's issues and causes.

Old Hollywood glamour: The actress looked every inch the old Hollywood starlet dressed in a little black dress and with her brunette locks loosely piled on her head.

Pregnant and proud: Angelina unveiled her baby bump at the Independent Spirit Awards last month .

"She's a mother, actress and a philanthropist," said Richard Cohen, chief executive officer of St. John.

Jolie, 32, signed with St. John in September 2005. At the time, she said she was excited about working with the clothing line.

"I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world," she said.

"I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable all at the same time. St. John is all of those things."

Brad Pitt and Angelina are also adoptive parents to Zahara, three, Pax Thien, four, and have a biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel, 21 months.

In preparation for the birth this summer, Pitt has been rescheduling his work so he has enough time to spend with Jolie and the children.

A friend of the couple told the Mail Online: "They're having twins, Angelina is healthy, and he's thrilled that he's going to be a father once again.

"Brad's telling everybody close to him, because he's having to change around his work schedule to get ready for the birth.

"They didn't exactly plan this pregnancy, but they wanted more children and Brad says Angelina was very willing to have them herself."

“Greetings from Dan Undah! Once again, I have to say this country blows me away in EVERY way. We just got to Adelaide after spending three full days in Perth. Amazing. We played two shows with Ben Lee opening for him before he took the stage in front of a 65-piece orchestra. Words can’t explain how brilliant he is and how genius the arrangements were of his songs. He had the crowds in the palm of his hands.

“It was a bit awkward to step on stage here for the first time here in years - especially with my own music and (and no dancers that I’m sure a bulk of the audience might have been expecting!) We are touring barebones-style with just Loren on piano and Chaves on guitar. It’s actually really great sometimes to not have the pressure of the full band but I can’t wait to get back down here with the set-up we toured with in the States.

“For the next week, we’ll be doing a short intimate set opening for Kelly Clarkson down here and then off to Manila to play one show there on the 12th.

“Happy to come home after this trip and really dig into some film projects I’ve had my eyes on now that everything is back up in motion. I am so ready to get back to work in terms of writing my next record, recording some demos and hopefully locking in a compelling and challenging film project.”
