Kate Middleton celebrates her 26th birthday without her royal lover at the Tom Aikens restaurant in London’s Chelsea on Wednesday night. The birthday girl was accompanied by her parents Carole and Michael and younger sister Pippa.
With no Prince William in sight, the Middleton sisters then took the party to Kitts Club in Sloane Square with younger sister Pippa.
Earlier in the day, the birthday girl worked it out in a plaid skirt near her West London home.
26… and still single. Maybe!

Harry Potter Joe Jonas of the pop rock group Jonas Brothers pays a visit to the medical office of a plastic surgeon on the Upper West Side of New York City on Thursday. He was taking care of (or probably removing) the stitches he has on his forehead–he tripped and hit his forehead on a grate at a recent Atlantic City concert.

Joe, 18, wore his favorite black fur-trimmed coat and white rock star shades. He was escorted to and from his SUV by the same burly bodyguard that’s been protecting all of the Jonas Brothers.

Johnny Depp and costar Helena Bonham Carter walk the bloody red carpet at the European premiere of Sweeney Todd at the Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday in London, England.
Sweeney Todd opens in theaters in about two weeks in the UK — Friday, Jan. 25th.

Sophia Bush works her Thread Social houndstooth dress like none other at the FUZE/Revolution Slenderize bash at 86 restaurant in Hollywood on Wednesday. The One Tree Hill actress stood tall in platform Louboutins and was later seen dining at Katsuya.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine (sans girlfriend Rebecca Ginos) grabs dinner at Japanese restaurant Katsuya in Hollywood on Wednesday with a PR pal.
Adam, 28, wore a gray woolly beanie and a blue lumberjack shirt. He dined with the same female friend that Jake Gyllenhaal frequently has meals with.
Maroon 5 has a slew of appearances coming up to promote “Goodnight Goodnight,” the fourth single released from their second album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. The band will be shooting the music video for it this week in LA with director Marc Webb.

Phillip Noyce was just named the director of Mary Queen of Scots, starring Scarlett Johansson.
The 23-year-old actress is sticking to what she does best–period dramas!
Mary Queen of Scots is a biography of the woman who became Scotland’s queen at 9 months in 1542 and, later, a rival to the English throne. Mary, a Roman Catholic, was imprisoned for many years on charges of plotting to murder Elizabeth I, a Protestant. Elizabeth eventually had her beheaded in 1587.
Production is scheduled to start April in London and Scotland.

Madonna has conned both UNICEF USA and Gucci into helping her raise money for the Kabbalah Center, reports Fox News.

Here’s their shocking report: Gucci is throwing an all-star fundraiser on Feb. 6 for Madonna’s charity, Raising Malawi. GUCCI’s “A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF” will take place in heated tents on the north lawn of the United Nations, with special co-hosts Sarah Jessica Parker and Salma Hayek scheduled to attend along with Madonna.

However, neither Gucci nor UNICEF is aware that Raising Malawi is merely a front for Philip Berg’s Kabbalah Center of Los Angeles.

In fact, before anyone writes a check: Raising Malawi is also still not a registered charity. All of its forms, filings and press releases direct back to the Kabbalah Center.

Berg’s son Michael started Raising Malawi under the pretext of helping orphans in that impoverished country. But after Madonna helped herself to one, David Banda, Berg and the rest of the Kabbalah/Raising Malawi team went to work on their real cause: indoctrinating unsuspecting Malawi orphans into their brand of mysticism.

According to Berg’s blog from April 24, 2006, his first move was to bring Malawi teachers to Los Angeles to retrofit them for Kabbalah. He wrote:

“We have brought a number of teachers from the African nation of Malawi to Los Angeles. This is part of our Raising Malawi initiative. They will be learning the Spirituality for Kids curriculum for the next 3 months. After that, they will go back to Malawi and teach the children there these empowering spiritual life lessons. I am very excited about this project. This morning we welcomed them to the Centre.”

Tom Cruise is a real-life hero, reports InTouch.
On December 30, Tom was driving his Hummer near his home in Telluride, Colorado, with his wife, Katie Holmes, and his three children, Isabella, 15, Connor, 13, and Suri, 21 months. Tom, 45, saw a woman who was stranded when her vehicle ran off the road.
An onlooker says, “The police were waiting with the woman for a tow truck and all of a sudden, a Hummer pulled up and it was Tom Cruise!” He and his bodyguard helped push the woman’s car out of the snow. The famous family had spent the holiday week frolicking in the snow.
“We ski. We have big dinners and laugh,” Katie says. “We love cooking. Tom’s really good in the kitchen. He makes great pasta carbonara and lemon pasta.”
Tom and Katie, 29, wished the woman a happy New Year as they drove away.
