Spanish actor Javier Bardem stays sleek in a suit as he accepted the award for Best Supporting Actor during the 2008 Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Monday in Santa Monica, Calif.
“I feel like I won the lottery,” Bardem said. “All the performers here are truly heartbreaking. I’m just a lucky guy, that is all. [And my costar Josh Brolin] is a great actor and a best friend.” Aww!!!
Bardem, 38, plays Anton Chigurh, a psychopathic murderer in No Country for Old Men, which was also named Best Picture. The Coen brothers also picked up Best Director.

High School sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens make their first red carpet appearance together at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Saturday in California. The Hairspray cast picked up the festival’s Ensemble Performance Award and Nikki Blonsky, the Rising Star Award.
Zac, as usual, had all of his female fans’ panties in a bunch. According to The Desert Sun, five female friends and cousins wore white T-shirts spelling out the word Hairspray in hopes of seeing the teen hearthrob.
“I almost hope it rains, I love it when (Zac’s) wet,” said Bekah Hoesterey, 16, of La Quinta.

Madonna and director husband Guy Ritchie leave Mehrangadh Fort in the western Indian city of Jodhpur on Saturday with two of their kids — daughter Lourdes, 11, and son Rocco, 7.

Madge has been on vacation in India since New Year’s. “Madonna spent New Year’s Eve with her family at a wilderness camp in the desert,” said Siddarth Singh, whose family owns the nearby Rohetgarh Fort and helped organize the entertainment for the night. The evening included traditional Rajasthani dance and folk music, and even a dancing horse show.

Prince William meets with firefighters and hospital staff on Friday after a huge fire ripped through Royal Marsden Hospital in London, England.
The Prince is president of the hospital and took time out to meet with cancer patients that were moved to The Royal Bompton Hospital in Chelsea. Over 160 patients and 800 staff were evacuated from the hospital including two patients undergoing surgery at the time!
Only four people needed assistance due to smoke inhalation on the fourth floor of the building.
The Royal Marsden has been a leading center for cancer treatment and research and was the first hospital in the world dedicated to the fight. The hospital sees over 40,000 patients from around the world every year.

Britney Spears has been released from the hospital this morning via an underground tunnel according to Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.
Dr. Phil was seen at the hospital visiting Britney and she was released after the hospital had no reason to keep her further.
